I've been wanting to do one of these for awhile. Becky Higgins' Project Life. My binder won't be here until Monday and the inserts won't be available until next month, but I can wait. Oh I love this! It takes the hard stuff out of scrapbooking. Simply beautiful.

More Halloween decorations

I made this big wall art from inspiration found on Pinterest. It was so much fun and SO easy! Foam core - large piece, smaller pieces are covered in book text and i cut vinyl for the die cuts. I hot glued all pieces to hold them to the big piece of foam core. See, EASY!

Bread, homemade!

So my sis is on a health food kick, so I guess I've got one leg up on that band wagon and tryin my best to get on. She gave me the recipe for bread and I thought surely I can't do that... But I did! I used my stand mixer and it would not turn in to a dough ball. Well, she said it took ALOT of flour and it did! It finally made it's way into a ball and I was able to get it out and knead it. I let it rise, but it wasn't poofing up. I was so discouraged! After all that work I just knew it wasn't going to turn out. My hubs told me to have patience, something I've never had too much of. After about an hour it "poofed" but the bowl it was in was so big that the poofing went out instead of up! So when i punched it down it was like punching a PILLOW! To my surprise-again- it was soft, warm, and doughy just like she said it would be! I cooked it and was amazed that with just a little of this and a lot of that I could make 2 loaves of bread for my family to enjoy. It was a lot of work but now I know why they say a lot of love went in to making something. Hard work= love.

upgraded to an iPhone 4 today and love it!!! Found this new app called Labelbox. You have got to go get it!! Great for scrapbookers!!! Yep this is me "natural" been a long day so the makeup is long gone!
