Pictures of my scraproom and latest class project...

It has been a while since I've put anything new up so here you go. Lots of new stuff to show you ... I rearranged my scraproom - again - can we ever do that TOO MUCH?? I went to our local antique store yesterday and stumbled on to a perfect scrap desk...for $13 and the top shelf for $35! I had to get them! they make a perfect scrappin' place. There is room for my Big Shot and Cuttlebug in the storage on the desk and the hutch has lots of long storage for my extended cutting pads and dies. I love it!

So, like I posted earlier, I'm a newbie to Stampin' Up! ... got my first order in last Friday night. 3 boxes full!!! A ton of stuff, it was like Christmas! So with that I made my first Stampin' Up! class project. It is a 6 X 6 mini album/ recipe book. I have places for pictures, journaling blocks or what ever and pockets for the recipe cards. I think it turned out pretty good since it came from my head. Usually, I have to search far and wide for a good thing to "lift" but I had the idea and actually turned it in to what I intended it to be. :) Yea me!!

So here are the pictures of my scrap room and the picts. of the little book. Hope you like them :)

GOT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to let you in on some good news! I am now officially a Stampin' Up! demonstrator! I did the switch from Close To My Heart, yes I know some are asking why? I do love CTMH very much, but SU offers many more accessories I can use in teaching my classes. I love teaching more than selling... so I need to be where I can have access to more things. I love the ability to see through the acrylic blocks and use the acrylic stamps... that is not beatable by anyone. But I can adapt the red rubber to use with my acrylic blocks and be just as happy with them. I have a website and would love to have you visit me there.... place an order of $50 before tax and shipping and you get an item FREE from the SALE-A-BRATION mini catalog found on my website. Just click HERE to go to my website and see all the wonderful items that Stampin' Up! has to offer.

I do plan to have more creative entries once I get started. My kit comes tomorrow night and I'm about to place a large order to get me started. I would really like to do tutorials in the future to share some great ideas... keep watching!

Happy Scrappin' and Good night :)

EMBRACE LIFE.....

I found inspiration in the most unexpected place today! Yes, you CAN get everything at WalMart!! On the back of a necklace I found the words EMBRACE LIFE. That is what I really want to do.... completely and totally. I want to get every ounce out of every single day that I can. I know people who are completely empty inside. Just drained out and dry. I want my cup to overflow! I want to live and live good. I realize that you don't have to have lots of money to be rich. I know some people who have very little money but have more riches than the wealthiest people. I want to live, and love, like that. There are things going on in my life to bring this about, but I'd rather not go there. I just want to grow from it. I know that God is trying to teach me or train me through or into something.... don't know what right now, but I'm sure I will later. My favorite verse in the Bible is from the book of Isaiah....

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31

I also have some news... besides from being inspired I have been busy brewing something new and exciting!!!
But, you will have to come back tomorrow to find out what it is....don't ya just hate it when people do that to you?! I'm excited about it, but need to get my ducks in a row before I start....

Happy Scrappin'!

Hidy HO! Howdy! Hello! Good Evening!

Well, had my class yesterday and my mini album was a big hit! They loved it! Goodie goodie goodie! It WAS worth all that work I put into it :)

Hmmm.... seems like I'm blogging so little that when I do, I have lots to say! I got a laptop, think I mentioned that in the last blog entry. I did exchange it because it had problems from the get go. The period key didn't work half the time. It was a good one, fast and just good all around. I got the Dell, and didn't really like it. So I exchanged it for the Toshiba I have now. I love it! Finally have one that I like AND it works. It has room for 4 GB more of RAM and I can't wait to get more for it... should be really fast then.

We put up a wall here and I finished the drywall and painted it- twice! The first color was WAY off ...nothing like the paint chip I had. The second color is just right. The other side of the wall faces the kitchen and it is barn red- LOVE IT!

Just wanted to check in for the "I'm alive" report in.... nothing new or exciting going on right now. I do have another layout ready to show you but I'm too pooped to pop right now! painted 2 walls today, did 8 loads of laundry, did all the regular housework- so now I'm exhausted. We all get this way, right!?
Good night and Happy Scrappin'
