It came and went....

Well, here it is just 4 days after Christmas and it seems like it was forever ago! We wait in anticipation for what? the cleanup?? Ha ha?? I'm not a scrooge, but I think the waiting for "THE" day is almost as good as the opening of the gifts!! Here are some "before, during, and after" pictures....

Excitement in the air!!

Christmas is coming! It is just a couple of days away now and I'm not sure who is more excited: the boys or myself!! My hubby will be home tonight and will put my desk together for me in the morning. I can't wait to get it all finished. Here is a picture of our mantle. I love these flowers!

Here is a before picture of my scraproom... The desk I have now is just too big- and falling apart, literally!! We have moved it hmmm.... 3 times and each time something has fallen off! I think it is balanced now and put together with one bolt and one other screw!! I love the cubes that Target sells. They are perfect for a desk. I had a desk top from another set I had and we are just using it and 4 cubes. Hubby says will not be enough room, I say yes there will be. I'll post later to tell you who was right ( me) and who was wrong ( him ) HA!! HA!! I don't need that much room. I'll have a scanner and the monitor on top and that is it ( that is all for now ) and my Epson Picture Mate will go down on one of the shelves. It will all fit and be perfect! But, of course, I'm the optimistic one! Anyways... Here are the before pictures for my scrap room.

Dakota's 7th Brithday!

Dakota turned 7 on December 13. I forgot the candles on the cake I made, so I had to go buy another one and the #7 candle! Here is the little feller blowing his candle out!!

Can't sleep, so BLOG!!

Way too early in the morning to be here, but what else is there to do?? Sleep? Nope, not an option now! It didn't snow, or ice, or freeze here. It is cold though! 30 degrees now, and that is BRRRRR to me! I would like a little frozen precip. The weather people say one thing and it does something else. Maybe the should call for nothing and we'll get a blizzard! I'm going to go find a photo to post. I have to ... I'm a picture person. You don't leave and not say goodbye, therefore, you don't blog and not leave a photo! Not matter how early it is in the morning!!!

Cold weather blows in...

It was a warm week until this storm blew in, and I mean blew in! The wind blew so hard! The sky was spectacular- I just couldn't resist taking a few pictures!
After the storm passed the clear blue sky shown through for a little while.... I had to go it because it got too chilly to be out with the camera!

I'm new at this blogging thing, so here I go...............

I finally finished with my ebay listing for a holiday book. It is up and hopefully will sell! I put hours in on it so maybe it will pay off for me!
